In Memoriam Gifts

In Memoriam Gifts

A memoriam gift is a thoughtful and practical way to remember a friend or loved one. You can dedicate an hour of therapy, a playroom, or even an entire unit in their honour.

Each memoriam gift is acknowledged with a personalised condolence letter to the person or family nominated by the donor, so that they will know who has made a special donation in memory of their loved one.

Remembrance and memoriam donations provide bereaved individuals and families an opportunity to express their grief and pay tribute to their loved one, on an anniversary, birthday, Christmas, or any other special day.

There are many ways you can remember a relative or a friend.

Arranging a funeral or memorial service

If you are arranging a funeral or memorial service, and would like to nominate Emerge as the recipient of memorial donations, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can ensure that our gift envelopes are made available in good time.

Donations in lieu of flowers

Families and individuals arranging funerals or memorial services sometimes request that relatives and friends do not send flowers to the service, but instead make a memorial gift to a not-for-profit organisation. Please let us know if you are nominating Emerge. We are able to provide gift envelopes if we have sufficient notice.

Receipts will be forwarded to all individual donors.

All donations (over $2) made to Emerge Support are tax deductible.
