New Board Chair for Emerge

We welcome Nicki Batagol, the new Chair of Emerge Women and Children’s Support Network, who will lead the Emerge Board that is made up of skilled and committed women.

Nicki is a management consultant specialising in change management. She has worked in Australia and London leading global organisations through workforce transformation programs.

Currently the Chair of PANDA (Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia) and a Board Member of Mental Health First Aid International (MHFA), Nicki is passionate about supporting women and families and brings a wealth of knowledge to Emerge at a critical time in the organisation’s history.

“I am delighted to work with the management team and Board, who together bring the skills and knowledge needed to support Emerge in achieving its strategic goals”, Nicki said.

Nicki believes this is an important time for Emerge with significant change on the horizon.

“As a Board, we understand that the focus at the moment is to open the doors of the new high security refuge so that our services can be offered seamlessly to women and children affected by family violence,” Nicki said

“The future of Emerge is bright, and the Board feels very privileged to be a part of the organisation at this very exciting time,” she added.
